We loved our stay here, the beach and bay were super close, 2 minute walk to both. The place was clean and nicely furnished with air conditioning which was much appreciated after a day at the beach. The hosts were very responsive and friendly in their responses. Would definitely recommend this place
Nice location near both the bay side and the ocean. We were surprised how busy the main road (mission blvd) was. There is a cross walk with flashing lights to cross going to the ocean side and most of the time we easily crossed. House was clean and nice. Beds were acceptably comfortable and clean. Because the house is on the main road we did hear a lot of road noise at night. The host did include a sound machine in the bedroom (we always travel with our own as well), but the noise was still disruptive. The kitchen was the most disappointing part. We were planning on cooking most of our meal as we have small children. The majority of the cookware was in an unsafe condition. All the nonstick cookware was scratched and peeling off. One of the skillets was rusting badly. I contacted the host and they weren't able to get new pans for our stay. We ended up buying our own, as we had already bought a lot of food to prepare. Washer and dryer worked great, handy to have a the beach.
We had a very comfortable stay at Cardo’s place and really appreciated the location — it’s an easy walk both to the beach and the bay, which made everything so convenient. The house itself was very clean and comfortable, and overall we enjoyed our time there. A few small improvements could make the experience even better for future guests. Updated beach gear would be great, as some of the chairs were rusty and the equipment was a bit worn and dirty. It would also be a nice touch to provide a small amount of complimentary coffee for the first morning. Additionally, the firepit was not working during our stay. One thing to note for families with young children is that the home is located right near Mission Bay Drive, so there is a noticeable amount of traffic noise. Overall, we had a good stay and appreciated the great location and cleanliness of the home.
